Interview questions
How did you get your start in writing?
I've always enjoyed reading and then creating my own stories. My first published
work was The Thirteenth Mission about my father's doomed AF mission over Germany
and from there, I wrote for several magazines before publishing my first novel.
who are your biggest influences Jack London as far as writing the werewolf
series since they're based on real wolves, fairy tales, and folk tales from all
over the world.
What is your biggest inspiration when creating?
A scene will come to me and I can see the dialogue, the action, and have to just
write until the scene is on "paper."
Could you give us the details of your current project?
Plight of the Wolf is about the psychic, Carol, from Destiny of the Wolf. She
finds herself fighting shapeshifting when she sees future visions of werewolves
in trouble. A PI, Chester doesn't believe in psychics, but he doesn't know what
to make of her predictions as the town run by werewolves turns upside down in
the face of a flu epidemic.
What is the next goal you would like to achieve with your
writing?
I have two more books contracted for Sourcebooks--Taming the Highland Wolf and
Dreaming of the Wolf, and I want to propose a couple of more. I'd also like to
write the sequel to The Vampire...In My Dreams...The Vampire...In My Nightmares.
(YA) And I'd like to write the sequel to Winning the Highlander's Heart and The
Accidental Highland Hero.
Final four (questions we ask all interviewees)
When the zombies take over the world where will you be?
On another world. In this new world, werewolves rule. :)
Jedi, Ninja, vampire, were-wolf, pirate, fairy or Spartan?
Werewolf, although I like vampires also, and well, pirates...privateers, can
be pretty interesting also.
What one piece of art, be it music, book, film or picture,
do you think people must experience before they die?
To Tempt the Wolf. :) You asked! :)
Give one fact that most people would not believe about you?
That I fired a Law missile at a tank.
