Pop/Rock girl group, and local Houston darlings, #1 Crush officially signed a management and record deal with Mathew Knowles' Music World Inc., it was announced today. The group joins artists like Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, J Xavier, 2Much and Sunshine Anderson who have flourished under the keen direction of Mr. Knowles.

#1 Crush, individually known as Monica Matocha, 15, Brittany Marling, 14, and Alli Cannon, 16, are already off to a fast start. The group, who has become known for an awesome mix of singing and innovative dancing, has performed all over the country opening for major pop artists such as Ashley Simpson. Their energetic and captivating show caught the attention of Radio Disney who booked the group to perform for their New Year's Eve Jingle Jam Tour in Boston, MA. As the girls' careers developed, so did Disney's interest in them. #1 Crush was recently featured on the highly coveted "Incubator" program on Radio Disney. #1 Crush is a high-energy, musically-gifted, crowd-pleasing group with a rock/pop sound that will thrust them into pop music superstardom along with the likes of Hannah Montana, Hillary Duff, and the Cheetah Girls. The Houston, Texas-based group is currently recording in the studio to put the finishing touches on their debut project with producer Dwight Baker, who has worked with Kelly Clarkson and Brandy Carlile.
