FANGORIA TV SETS APRIL PROGRAMMING LINEUP WITH
SPECIAL FOCUS ON ‘GRINDHOUSE’ HORROR FLICKS
FANGORIA TV (www.fangoria.tv) To Offer Up BRAIN OF BLOOD AND HORROR OF THE BLOOD
MONSTERS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
NEW YORK (March 29, 2007) – Fangoria TV (www.fangoria.tv) – the #1 website
address for all things horror – has set its free programming for April,
highlighted by a special salute to ‘Grindhouse’ horror films airing on the newly
launched broadband destination.
Set for April 6, Fangoria TV celebrates “Grindhouse” movies with BRAIN OF BLOOD,
the tale of a mad scientist who transplants the brain of a dying Middle Eastern
tyrant into the body of a deformed half-wit in order to seize control of the
despot’s nation.
For April 13 the Fangoria TV “Grindhouse” Celebration continues with HORROR OF
THE BLOOD MONSTERS, starring horror icon John Carridine as scientist Dr. Rynning,
who leads a space journey to a distant planet of blood-sucking vampire’s intent
on contaminating Earth. Later that week, Fangoria TV will premiere the anime
series DESCENDENTS OF DARKNESS, where a mysterious cluster of gothic young men
known as Death Guardians seek to protect the world of the living from the
super-natural threats from Beyond.
From April 20-26 Fangoria TV presents the horror classic CARNIVAL OF SOULS.
Comparable to a feature-length episode of ‘THE TWILIGHT ZONE,’ CARNIVAL OF SOULS
has been cited as one of the most intelligently constructed and atmospheric
movies of all time and as an influence on Directors George A. Romero and David
Lynch. The film focuses on what happens when a young girl emerges from what
looks to be a certain death.
From April 27-May 3, Fangoria TV’s SCREAMOGRAPHY interviews Director Mary
Lambert (PET SEMATARY, PET SEMATARY II) and TV’s TALES FROM THE CRYPT.
Located on the web at www.FANGORIA.TV, FANGORIA TV offers both free and
subscription services. The free advertiser-supported service -- for anyone and
everyone who visits the site – presents a line-up of horror movies, short films,
news and behind-the-scenes programming and more for the general public. The
subscription service (available on a monthly subscription or pay per view basis)
offers completely unedited and uncensored content, including high-profile
movies, independently produced feature films, home-grown videos and a wide array
of original television programming for the most discriminating horror buff.
